On the 21st of September the Eclipse team supported UEFA with the launch of the Euro 2020 branding. The 2020 event sees a new twist on the approach of tournament football as the event will take place across 13 cities in Europe with the semi-finals and final held in London.

This being the 60th Anniversary of the tournament UEFA wanted to launch the branding in style. Eclipse were contacted to provide full event production support for the event which was held at City Hall.

The Eclipse design team got their heads together to devise a strategy for presenting the new logo. After many a brainstorm the team settled on 3D printing of the logo, something that on this scale Eclipse have never done before. In fact after researching this concept it became clear that there are only a handful of printers in the country capable of printing something in 3D and to the scale we required.

Now that considerable time had been invested in producing the 3D logos we wanted to ensure we created a dramatic reveal for the client. Within the custom branded set that our design and build teams created we included two logo reveal hides that combined with a kabuki drop gave the client the wow factor they were seeking.

Within the custom curved branded set we included a floating LED wall for UEFA to display their content throughout the conference. The set coupled with the football pitch themed stage area created the perfect arena for UEFA to launch their new branding.

Paul Stuart, Eclipse Account Manager had this to say “The thrill of working on an event to launch new branding for such a well respected governing body as UEFA was a pleasure. Thanks to the creative freedom the client gave us we were able to create a truly memorable event for all that were able to attend’.
